We are focused on developing creative methods to teach youth about the multiple methods of investing.

Sisters Investing In Legacy (SIL) is a Chicago-based youth investment club designed to teach tomorrow's leaders the foundations of investing, including, saving cash, and the acquisition of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, property, money market funds, and more. SIL is a subsidiary of Sisters Investing for Success (SIS), a women's investment club with 20+ year track record of collaboratively building an outstanding investment portfolio.   

 

SIL members will:

   

• have the opportunities to purchase and manage stock portfolios

• gain access to professionals in various fields of investing (i.e. mentorship)

• be exposed to young adults, under 30 years of age, who have successfully invested (including entrepreneurs)

• participate on trips to financial-related institutions to learn how money flows nationally and internationally (i.e. stock exchanges)

• visit local colleges and universities with reputable business programs

Comprehensively and holistically, our goal is to teach our youth investment club members how to make sound investment decisions, equipping them with the knowledge to be not only better secure their financial future, but to understand the power in earning a legacy of wealth building. Via youth investment education workshops, professional access, mentorship, exposure to successful young investors, and trips to financial institutions, we will accomplish our goal.
